A communication was recently distributed regarding the city of Manila, Philippines enactment of a law banning daytime use of commercial trucks, including those transporting household goods cargo. Last Friday, Feb. 21, the city government of Manila conceded to requests of transportation haulers and exporters to modify it's planned daytime truck ban allowing trucks to enter during a five hour window, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The city of Manila, Philippines has enacted a law banning daytime use of trucks, including those for cargo. The ban, which was signed into law on Wednesday, Feb. 5, will alleviate traffic in the city and restricts the use of trucks from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
